Jordan Bautista
Head Coach Crawdads


Jordan Bautista is in his third year as manager of the Crawdads.


Coach Bautista has been coaching baseball at elite levels for over a decade. He started his college coaching career as an assistant at Diablo Valley College, where he helped them to a Big 8 championship and a California community college State championships appearance. He is currently assisting at Laney College in Oakland where he works with the defense, hitting, base running, and strength and conditioning.


A graduate of Encinal High School ('00), Bautista played infield at Laney College then transferred on to play at San Francisco State University. At SFSU, he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Human Movement. In 2007, he received his Master's of Arts degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from St. Mary's College of California. 

Jonny Tucker

A graduate of De La Salle High School, Jonny was a Freshman All-American at Florida where he played for 3 years.  A 20th round selection of the Baltimore Orioles, Jonny went on to play 12 years of professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals.

Jonny has a passion for the game and wants to share his upper level knowlege to the next generation of athletes.


Kheylin Smith

A graduate of De La Salle High School, Kheylin played college ball at UCLA, and managed in the Italian Professional League for 2 years.  Kheylin currently coaches baseball for the De La Salle Spartans.


Don Gieseke

Don is the current owner of an indoor baseball training facility called The Fieldhouse.  Don played independent ball for 11 years in the Arizona Summer League and has coaches youth baseball for 35 years.
